Have you seen Nerd Boyfriend?

The best part of blogs and really the ultimate reason why I know I read blogs, is for the crazy and wonderful new things other people have stumbled across and have been ever so kind as to share with the cyber world. Isn't it just great?  All these new unheard of bands that are struggling to get their sound out or perhaps a designer on the other side of the world that otherwise you might never have heard of.  It just warms my heart.  Today whilst perusing my backlog of must read blogs (thanks RAFW) I came across this pretty awesome website, Nerd Boyfriend, thanks to the cute and quirky craft blog Candy Castle by Sydney artist Kitiya Palaskas.  Nerd Boyfriend is a fashion blog like no other.  The author Roxana Altamirano, carefully chooses celebrities, more specifically male celebrities who have unequivocal style and recreates their ensemble.  Most of these men are iconic for their talents but this little doosey of a blog highlights and emulates their wicked bad style.  Enough said.  Have a look!

Instagram. Insta-what?

Mmmm my cafe treat looks instagram-ingly delicious. Wow that tree looks instagram-ably handsome. 

My name is Six and I'm an instagramaholic. 

For you out there who have no idea what I'm tripping about Instagram is a F R E E iPhone app that is rad. In a bubble, Instagram is for taking photos, adding filters to give that old vintage feel, and then sharing them with sites like Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and Tumblr. You can follow other Instagramers, do some liking and post comments. I like it, it's fun. 

But wait there's more. I have just discovered more Instagram fun to be had. Wouldn't it be ace if you could make stickers out of your Instagram photos? Well guys you can! Instagoodies and Artflakes lets you do just that. Eeeepp!

I must be off to check my instagram do some work. Serious Sanoii + Six work.

7 days, 7 weird and wonderful pictures: Part Sieben

Here I am thinking "Oh yeh check me out I'm totes on a roll with this whole blog series thing (please note - the word totes is totally only used for emphasis on how cool I thought I was)." And I had patiently waited until Monday night, (more like procrastinated, but whatevs) to do our little recap of the week using fun and often inappropriate images we've stumbled across in said week. My cavalier attitude was wiped cleanly off my smug little face when I noticed I was actually two weeks behind. Well not exactly two weeks, more like 12 days, which is even more annoying - I didn't even have the blogging day right. So you guys are probably like what's the big dealo? Well I will tell you what the dealo is kids? We are trying our hardest to be constant and thorough bloggers and IT. IS. TOUGH. While some of our blog posts aren't too bad (ok so most of our blog posts are boss/rad/whatever meterage you are using for being hip these days) we are the first to admit that some posts are lacking a certain je ne sais quoi? But really that only highlights how normal and imperfect we are and whilst our faces are not splashed across our brand, our blog is a little insight into the real us. A little piece of the S+S pie, sometimes a boring and often nonsensical piece, but a piece of a much larger pie that is always learning and growing into a better pie. Did I lose you? I think I lost myself.

So um, here is our 12 in 12. Enjoy!
